“I’m a fan of making donations in someone’s name or in honor of lost loved one- pets included. I started watching Hope for Paws videos some years ago and was intrigued by how they managed to rescue animals especially dogs, using humane methods and offering them cheeseburgers- a god-send to a hungry stray. Eldad, the founder of hope for paws only asked for five dollar donations- recurring hopefully - to help him buy cheeseburgers for his next rescue. Now years later, I’m still sending $5 a month and Eldad and his team have built a rescue facility complete with veterinary care and work with other rescue organizations to foster and find forever homes for these now lucky fur babies. It feels good to know even a small contribution can help make a huge impact over time. There are many rescue organizations that need financial help. You can find any number of breed specific rescues or support one caring for senior animals. Watching a rescue remain stable and grow is a gift that keeps on giving!”
